It’s relatively easy to get started with your free website. Just a few things needed from you to start:

• Logo, if you have one. Text can be used to get started if you do not
• Colors for your business and call to action buttons
• Some photos of your business, products and YOU, or some ideas on types of stock photography to use
• A short “About Us” paragraph
• A list of 3-4 products or services, with a short description
• Contact information like email address, phone number, social media links, and an address if you want customers to visit

Since the website is free, of course there are things not included :

• You will not have access to edit the site or to the admin area
• No email address or account (can be linked if you already have one)
• No SEO research or content
• No video content
• No altering the templates structure or layout
• No embedded social media threads
• No embedded newsletter signups or reservation forms
• No embedded calendars
• No testimonials
• No e-commerce functions (online purchases, digital transfers)
• Edits to the website once launched are not included in the initial cost. Edits like photo changes, content (text) edits, phone numbers, email addresses, etc can be made at $75/hour, with a 1/2-hour minimum.

When you sign up for BeBizzy LAUNCH here’s what’s included :

• Two (2) revisions of the website once the content, images and logos are supplied by the customer.
• A free domain for one year (renewable annually at $20/year)
• Free SSL security on the website
• Choice of one of three website templates
• Upload of a logo, up to six photos (one large “hero” image)
• Ability to complete an “about us” section, and up to four products and services.
• Place for your phone number, email address, an online form, and address/map to your business
• Mobile-friendly version of the site with no additional coding
• Hosting on BeBizzy’s dedicated, redundant server, free from hundreds of other mismanaged or potentially dangerous websites you would normally be associated with on a shared server from a small host.
• Submission to Google and Bing search engines
• If provided, Google Analytics code can be added to the site to track visitors to the website. It is preferred that account is provided by the client since it’s not transferrable down the line.

The site is built on WordPress, and just needs to be migrated to its own directory. From there some additional plugins will be installed, some DNS magic done to the site, then it’s on to working with you to create the website you’ve always dreamed about by customizing a template, adding functionality to the site, and getting you access to make your own edits.

Other things that may trigger the need to larger website are:

• Repeated Questions from clients that could be answered by a larger site
• More robust SEO content and meta needs
• An e-commerce store to sell products
• A calendar or booking form to take reservations or meetings

The website will be built and hosted by BeBizzy for one year. It you wish to cancel the service, that initial annual cost is non-refundable.

Also, the domain was most likely leased under BeBizzy Consulting in order to expedite the DNS setup and launch of the website. It’s is transferable to you, in fact, I would highly suggest you transfer your domain from BeBizzy at some point before it renews in order for you to own your digital real estate. But there is an annual cost and potentially a transfer fee from certain registrars. I suggest using Namecheap, since it’s the one used by BeBizzy and the transfer is done in minutes, not weeks like GoDaddy or other domain registrars.

Other things to consider if you wish to migrate the website to another host are:

• There is a $500 bundle and transfer fee to migrate the website within the first year.
• The contact form was built on Gravity Forms. a leading WordPress form builder plugin. If you transfer away, that form will cease to function unless you purchase an annual license with Gravity Forms.
• Similarly, the backup plugin, and email sending (SMTP) plugin, SEO plugin and Site Enhancement plugin will be deactivated before migration since they are a subscription included by BeBizzy Consulting
